HUMBI FARM

Regenerative, sustainable and transformative agriculture in the heart of Mozambique.

A PIONEERING AGRICULTURAL PROJECT

Humbi Farm is based on the principles of permaculture, seeking to restore and transform the land through environmentally friendly farming practices.

Launched in 2020, this project aims not only to supply fresh and sustainable food to the Munti Center, but also to generate a positive impact on the local community.

With a focus on biodiversity, self-sufficiency and soil regeneration, Humbi Farm has become a model of sustainability and respect for the natural environment.

LOCAL IMPACT

This is a space that not only works for the environment, but also for the well-being of the local community.

Thanks to its sustainable practices, the farm provides fresh and nutritious food to the children of the Munti Center, promoting self-sufficiency and the local economy.

In addition, it generates employment and training opportunities, creating a direct impact on the lives of the area’s inhabitants.

PERMACULTURE

Humbi Farm applies the principles of permaculture, an agricultural system based on the observation of nature, which promotes harmony between humans and the environment.

This sustainable technique allows cultivation without depleting resources, favoring biodiversity and soil self-regulation, which makes Humbi a benchmark for organic farming in Mozambique.

CULTIVATION AREAS

Humbi Farm is divided into six growing areas: Goodall, Fukuoka, Wangari, Cáceres, Amazonia and Vandana, which serve different functions and allow a varied plantation according to the particularities of each space.
